A Palestinian was shot in the West Bank village of Husan according to Israeli and Palestinian reports.

According to Palestinian media reports, citing eyewitnesses, after the person was shot, Israeli troops are preventing Palestinians from approaching the area.

The Rescuers Without Border emergency service says the suspect hurled a Molotov cocktail at troops in the area before being shot.

The emergency service also says the suspect has died of their wounds, but there is no immediate confirmation on this from Palestinian or Israeli officials.

A military spokesperson says the army is looking into the incident.
