Rise in number of car accidents in 2015
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleData from the Central Bureau of Statistics shows that the number of fatal road accidents in 2015 increased by 9 percent compared to the previous year. The bureau also found that there was an increase of about 11 percent in the number of fatalities in car accidents.
Overall last year, there were 12,056 road accidents in which approximately 22,000 people were injured.
