Settlers filmed slashing car tires, hurling stones through store windows in Christian town
Israeli settlers are filmed slashing the tires of vehicles and hurling stones through shop windows in the Christian Palestinian town of Taybeh in the central West Bank late Wednesday night.
Previous attacks on Taybeh have caught the attention of US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, himself an ordained pastor, who visited in July and called for those targeting the town to be prosecuted. No indictments were filed, as they rarely are against those taking part in the near-daily settler attacks in the West Bank.
The latest attack in Taybeh was caught on security camera, while a separate incident involving the theft of construction equipment in the nearby village of Turmus Ayya was reported by the Palestinian Authority’s official Wafa news site.
