US President Donald Trump denies mounting reports that he is unhappy with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the depleted stockpile of American missile interceptors.
“Pete is highly respected within the military and has made tremendous improvements,” Trump writes on Truth Social, citing Hegseth’s stopping diversity programs and his recruitment efforts.
“Iran, where the country has been decimated for the purpose of NOT ALLOWING IT TO EVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON, is going very well!” he claims, presumably referring to the war against Tehran.
