US ambassador visits Ashdod, shows solidarity
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe US ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, visits Ashdod as rockets continue to fall on the southern coastal city, conveying Washington’s solidarity with, and support for, its residents.
“I visited Ashdod today and received an update from Mayor [Yehiel] Lasri on the efforts of the municipality staff to take care of the needs of the city’s residents at this difficult time,” Shapiro posts on his Facebook page.
“I expressed to him, and through him to the residents of Ashdod, the support and solidarity of the United States.”
