Three others were lightly injured when the car collided with another car that was parked on the side of the road along the Route 6 highway.
The man, 30, was standing outside the parked car when he was hit, according to paramedics who arrived at the scene. Paramedics said the man was critically injured and had no vital signs. After a short while, he was declared dead at the scene.
