A Jerusalem mom filed a police complaint after her small child was bound and gagged with duct tape at his daycare.

Moran Bracha spoke out about the incident after one of her son’s teachers sent a photo of the boy taped to the chair to the class parents’ WhatsApp group, she wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday that has gone viral. She learned that a clown visiting the class had bound the boy to the chair as a joke after he kept getting up.

The clown then apparently suggested to the teacher that she send the photo to the child’s mother, “and say that we finally got him to sit down.”

The teacher erased the photo from the WhatsApp group after Bracha complained, she wrote.

“Afterward, I heard from the principal that it was just for a second, and then from the assistant teacher that it was a bad joke, and a mistake was made. (As if they accidentally broke some object),” Bracha wrote. “It goes without saying that a police complaint has been filed, obviously.”

Bracha first wrote the account in a neighborhood group, and it was then copied to a page with nearly 1 million followers that shares viral posts. From there, it was shared and viewed thousands of times, and the Hebrew outlet Ynet covered the story.

“My heart is broken and my tears haven’t stopped,” Bracha wrote. “I can’t get over this.”
