Israel put a shellacking on Serbia 89-76 in Tel Aviv Tuesday night to take the team one step closer to the EuroBasket 2013 tournament.
Omri Casspi poured in 23 points and Lior Eliyahu 22 in the win for Israel’s national squad.
With its victory Tuesday, Israel improves to a 3-2 record in the EuroBasket Qualification round. The team is currently in third position in Group A.
