10-year-old taken to Petah Tikva hospital with serious head injury

A Palestinian girl was seriously injured on Monday after being hit by a car in the northern West Bank.

The 10-year-old girl was hit near the Yakir Junction, and taken by Magen David Adom paramedics to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

Suffering from a head wound, she was anesthetized and hooked up to a respirator while on her way to the hospital.

The identity of the driver of the vehicle that struck the girl was not immediately clear.
