Early bird discount offer for OurCrowd Global Investor Summit ends Dec. 1
Largest investor event in the Middle East returns to Jerusalem on Feb. 15, 2023
“Innovation is impossible without collaboration between trusted partners in the public and private sectors,” says Lt. Gen. (ret.) H.R. McMaster, former US National Security Advisor. “That is why the 2023 OurCrowd investor Summit is a vital opportunity to grow the community of those dedicated to building a better future for generations to come.”
Lt. Gen. McMaster, who is an adviser to Edgybees, a groundbreaking space technology company, is just one of the global leaders who will be speaking at the OurCrowd Global Investor Summit in Jerusalem on February 15th, 2023.
With thousands of attendees, the Summit, which this year will celebrate OurCrowd’s 10th anniversary, is the largest investor event in the Middle East. It brings together international experts, entrepreneurs and business leaders with OurCrowd’s global community of thousands of investors who provide the funding resources for startup founders to bring their innovations to market.
This year, with the opening of OurCrowd Arabia and a $60 million deal to establish an AI innovation company in Abu Dhabi, a large delegation is expected to attend from the UAE, Morocco and other Middle East nations.
“We’re going to bring thousands of people to Jerusalem at Binyanei Ha’Uma, the International Convention Center, where they will be essentially watching Startup Nation in all of its glory,” says Jon Medved, CEO and Founder of OurCrowd. “There will be hundreds of startups from areas such as FoodTech, where you can actually taste the new artificial protein, HealthTech, where we develop new solutions for serious medical challenges, cybersecurity, and mobility where there will be flying electric cars that in the future you’ll be able park in your home.”
Dozens of companies from OurCrowd’s portfolio of more than 370 startups will be featured and many of the founders and CEOs will be on hand. Seventeen startups that appeared on stage at previous Summits were either acquired or had an IPO within the following year.
The Summit has gained an enviable reputation for the quality of its food and entertainment, as well as the serious business transacted when the high-tech community gets together under one roof. Due to unprecedented demand, OurCrowd is charging for the first time – $199 per person on the door, with a special early bird rate of $149 that expires on Dec. 1.
With more than 200,000 investors active on the OurCrowd platform from more than 180 countries, the pressure for tickets is unprecedented. Organizers hope that by charging for admission they can reserve enough places for serious investors who in the past have been turned away.
Among the innovation leaders so far announced to speak are Dr. Robert Gabbay, Chief Scientific and Medical Officer of the American Diabetes Association, Prof. Joseph Kvedar, President of the American Telemedicine Association, Melissa Drew, Digital Transformation Executive Advisor at IBM, Dr. Eyal Zimlichman, Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Innovation Officer at Sheba Medical Center, and Lara Ramdin, Chief Innovation Officer of Dole Foods.
Saul Singer, author of “Startup Nation,” and Michael Oren, former cabinet minister and ambassador to the US, will be signing copies of their new books.
