Satisfaction of patients in the Corona ward at Laniado Hospital – percentages higher than the national average!

A new survey by the Ministry of Health, the results of which have been sent to hospitals, shows that the satisfaction of patients in the Corona ward at Laniado Hospital is percentages higher significantly over than the national average. The survey examined a number of parameters, including: communication with medical and nursing staff, number of family visits within the ward, food served to patients, satisfaction with medical and nursing care, and a measure called general satisfaction. The survey examined the degree of satisfaction among a wide range of patients, with different demographic and social characteristics as well as with different clinical characteristics.

  • The national satisfaction average in the index called general satisfaction (to a very large extent) is 38%, while among patients in Laniado it is 86%.
  • The average national satisfaction in the index that examined the staff’s assistance in alleviating the feeling of loneliness (to a very large extent) is 38%, the figure in Laniado is 88%
  • The same is true of the physical conditions offered to patients in the ward, the national average stands at satisfaction (to a very large extent) of 40%, in Laniado the figure is higher by more than double – 90% satisfaction.
  • Indices that examined satisfaction with the actual care of the medical and nursing staff provide a similar picture: The average national satisfaction with the treatment of the medical staff (to a very large extent) stands at 58%, in Laniado the satisfaction (to a very large extent) is very high and stands at 93%. The same is true if one considers the satisfaction with the nursing staff. The national average of satisfaction (to a very large extent) with the nursing staff stands at 60%, in Laniado the figure is 95%.

Other indices also show a picture in which patients in the Corona ward at Laniado Hospital express particularly high satisfaction with the clinical care and nursing provided to them, as well as the logistical arrangements and mental support they needed during their stay in the ward.
