Eight Israelis were injured on Friday on the island of Ko Pha Ngan in Thailand when their taxi overturned.

The injuries sustained were not serious, according to Israel Radio, and the Foreign Ministry has been in contact with the accident victims.

The report said they would be transferred to the island of Ko Samui, which serves as a hub for travelers in the region.

Ko Pha Ngan is one of the most visited destinations in Thailand for Israeli travelers.
