Fires claimed the lives of two women in separate incidents Sunday morning.
A woman burned to death early Sunday morning in a fire at her Tel Aviv apartment.
The woman, said to have been in her 60s, was in her bedroom when the fire broke out there.
Firefighters carried her out of the inferno in critical condition and she died shortly thereafter.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Later, firefighters rushed to Kiryat Arba where a woman, 60, was trapped in her blazing apartment.
Fire fighters succeeded in evacuating the woman but despite efforts from Magen David Adom ambulance crews she succumbed to her injuries.
Another woman was also lightly injured in that incident.
