IDF soldiers come under fire from Lebanon
Shooting believed to be unintentional, possibly carried out by careless hunters

An IDF patrol on the border with Lebanon came under fire briefly on Thursday from the Lebanese side of the border. The soldiers returned fire. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The IDF ordered farmers to evacuate the vicinity of the shooting while it investigated the incident.
The army says the shooting was likely carried out unintentionally by Lebanese hunters.
On Friday night an improvised explosive device detonated along the Israeli-Syrian border as an IDF patrol passed by, in what was regarded by Israel as a deliberate attack on IDF targets.
