Israeli fighter jets flew low over the Bekaa Valley just after midnight on Friday, a Lebanese news outlet reported.

According to the report by LCBI News Arabic, citing an eyewitness in the northern Bekaa Valley, the warplanes launched heat flares over Lebanese territory.

There was no independent confirmation of the report.

Earlier in the day, the Lebanese state media reported four Israeli jets flying over Lebanon for approximately an hour-and-a-half.
