Police suspect a Jerusalem man of killing his wife early Saturday morning. The couple was found in their apartment, with the woman suffering from severe stab wounds.
Her 80-year-old husband was found lying next to her suffering light injuries.
Paramedics who were called to the scene failed to save the woman’s life.
The police said they suspect the stabbing was a case of domestic violence and that the man attempted to commit suicide. He was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center for treatment.
