One of out every 514 people on the planet is Jewish. (Look, it could be that person sitting opposite you right now on the train.)

The global Jewish population has reached 13.75 million, according to a new study by Professor Sergio DellaPergola of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with a growth of 88,000 in the past year.

The Times of Israel’s Rosh Hashanah infographic combines some of DellaPergola’s research with figures from Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics for a new year’s picture of the statistical status of the tribe.
