Man killed in bomb explosion near Acre
Victim was holding device when it went off
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA 51-year-old man from the northern Arab village of Jadeidi-Makr was killed Tuesday night by a bomb near a local soccer field.
Police said the man was known as a crime figure and was holding the bomb when it exploded.
He was initially wounded in the blast and was declared dead en route to the hospital.
Police from the nearby city of Acre launched an investigation into the bombing.
