Man stabs his brother to death on Bat Yam sidewalk
Police say siblings argued over financial issues
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA call to police in Bat Yam early Tuesday morning led to the discovery of a 53-year-old man lying in front of a local grocery store, bleeding to death from multiple knife wounds.
A preliminary police investigation found that during an argument over financial issues, his brother stabbed him and fled.
Magen David Adom medics were called to the scene but were unable to save the victim.
“The man was lying on the sidewalk. He was unconscious, he was stabbed many times,” paramedic Yigal Assayag told Ynet. “Paramedics performed CPR on him, but… we had to confirm his death.”
The brother was apprehended by police shortly after the attack.
