Missing soldier Menachem Mazryova is found unhurt

Police had asked public’s help in locating the 19-year-old, who went missing Saturday after leaving home for his army base

Police announced late Sunday that a missing soldier, 19-year-old Menachem Mendel “Mendy” Mazryova of Bat Yam, has been located, and is alive and well.

Earlier Sunday, the Israel Police requested the public’s help to locate the soldier, who was not seen since leaving home on his way to his IDF base on Saturday evening.

He was described as skinny and 1.76 meters (5’9″) tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police thanked the members of the public who helped in the search or shared its notice online.

There was no immediate information on the circumstances surrounding Mazryova’s brief disappearance.
