A 35-year-old man from the village of Ar’ara was arrested Monday for assaulting and striking a male nurse at the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera.

The suspect allegedly arrived at the hospital to visit his father who had complained about mistreatment by the nurse.

The accused confronted the nurse, reportedly swearing at and then slapping him.

The patient’s son confirmed that he cursed at the nurse, but denied striking him. The suspect was later released from custody and banned from the hospital for five days.
