Police find, question missing Wadi Ara teen
Youth had threatened to harm himself before leaving home with knife, though officials do not find weapon on his person

A 16-year-old Arab youth from northern Israel who disappeared on Friday was found in the early evening after police launched efforts to find him.
Police had asked for the public’s assistance in locating the teen, who threatened to harm himself before reportedly leaving his home in Wadi Ara armed with a knife.
He was not armed when police found him, and was taken in for questioning. It was not immediately clear where or under what circumstances the teen was found.
The Wadi Ara area is home to a sizable proportion of Israel’s Arab population, and is also the location of Tel Aviv gunman Nashat Milhem’s home village of Arara. Milhem was shot dead in the village on January 8, when he fired on troops coming to arrest him a week after he killed three people during a shooting spree in the coastal metropolis.
