Three men from the Sharon region were arrested on suspicion of raping a soldier repeatedly over several months while blackmailing her by threatening to publish intimate pictures of her online.
The three, all in their 20s, were arrested two weeks ago, but a gag order on the case was only lifted Sunday. All three deny raping the soldier, 19, and say the sex was consensual.
Police suspect that the men forced themselves upon the woman for several months before she complained to the police.
Investigators believe the woman knew one of the men and agreed to have sex with him and his friend, but then was blackmailed into continuing the act with them and a third man, Ynet news reported.
The case is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
