An explosion at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip last night killed hundreds, maybe. There are different versions of who is to blame for the disaster and how many people died. Berman and Rettig Gur weigh in on the facts and the fury on social media, as Israel’s evidence that Islamic Jihad was responsible mounts and US President Joe Biden endorses it.
Biden is in Israel. The hospital disaster has cast a pall over his solidarity visit and his planned meetings with leaders of neighboring states have already been canceled. Berman explains.
