After 5-year-old’s death, IDF orders residents to stay below bomb shelter windows
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF orders the public to close all windows in their rocket shelters and stay below the bottom of the window, after 5-year-old boy Ido Avigal died from a rocket shard that penetrated his Sderot apartment’s designated safe room.
“We had an irregular incident in Sderot of a shelter that was penetrated through the window,” says IDF Spokesperso Hidai Zilberman. “The window was standard. The irregularity was in the angle of the hit and its speed.”
