Bank of Israel unveils new NIS 200 bill
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Bank of Israel is giving producers, suppliers and operators of automated teller machines first examples of the new NIS 200 bill, which will be blue and feature the portrait of poet Natan Alterman.
The bill follows the design of the new NIS 50 bill, which entered circulation in September 2014.
The bill’s final design details are yet to be finalized but it will share many aspects with the recently introduced NIS 50 bill. The NIS 200 bill, like the NIS 50 bill, incorporates novel, hi-tech anti-counterfeit elements, including transparent ink and micro-perforation.
