Bennett meets security chiefs, orders northern West Bank crossing closed ‘until further notice’

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has instructed security forces to check whether any relatives of the terrorist who killed two people and wounded numerous others in Tel Aviv were involved in the shooting attack, his office says.

Bennett issued the order after meeting with top security chiefs this morning following the deadly attack last night.

The Prime Minister’s Office says Bennett also called for the Gilboa Crossing in the northern West Bank to remain closed “until further notice, with the goal” of restricting access to and from the terrorist’s hometown of Jenin.
