Crowds begin to gather in Jerusalem for the weekly protest against the government’s contentious judicial overhaul.

The rally outside the President’s Residence is set to start at 8:45 p.m. to allow Shabbat-observant protesters to attend.

Speakers will include former Blue and White MK Tehila Friedman, whose 11-minute maiden speech in parliament in 2020 — a tearful plea for unity in Israel and against hatred — went viral.
