Despite sirens, no rocket lands near Nahariya

Sirens were heard Sunday afternoon in Nahariya, but no rockets came close to the northern city.

A rocket did fall in an open area near Haifa, to the south, where no sirens sounded.

Hamas claimed it fired an R-160 rocket at Nahariya, more than 170 kilometers from Gaza, but since the missiles has a range of only 160 kilometers, it was unlikely it would have hit the northern coastal city.
