Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research institute says the wave of jellyfish that plagues Israel’s shores every year is finally receding for the summer.
Jellyfish have entirely vanished from beaches south of Haifa, and in the Achziv area there are now isolated appearances, the institute says. But it warns that there are still high concentrations of the stinging marine animals in the Haifa area.
