Ex-Arab League chief says Trump peace effort humiliates Palestinians
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe former head of the Arab League Amr Moussa says US President Donald Trump’s efforts to broker a Mideast peace deal has humiliated the Palestinians.
“If the purpose of President Trump’s statements is to ensure that one side wins and another side is the humiliated loser, then nothing will come from this peace plan,” Moussa tells Israel’s Walla news on the sidelines of Davos.
“All issues must be on the table, and both sides must be prepared to compromise,” he says. “The Palestinians will not go anywhere with a gun pointed at their head.”
