Four mortar shells hit uninhabited areas near Eshkol region

A number of mortar shells launched from Gaza detonate in uninhabited areas near the Eshkol region of southern Israel over the past half hour, the army says.

No injuries or damage are caused.

The mortar attack does not set off sirens as the projectiles were heading toward open fields where they was no threat to life.
