Officials in Gaza’s Hamas-run Health Ministry say the death toll has hit 72, including 17 minors, since the current round of violence began on Monday.

The Israel Defense Forces says dozens of those killed were terrorists and that additionally, some Palestinian fatalities were caused by misfired rockets from Gaza that failed to make their deadly way to Israel.
