Hundreds fill Kabul streets to celebrate return of mobile signals and internet

The previously deserted streets filled with people spreading the news, buying sweets and balloons, and drivers honking their horns in celebration, as AFP journalists witness.
“The city is alive again,” Mohammad Tawab Farooqi, a restaurant manager in the city, tells AFP while checking his phone.
