More than 240 rockets have been launched from Lebanon at northern Israel today, according to the military.

Some two hours ago, a barrage of 70 rockets was fired at the Western Galilee, impacting open areas, according to the IDF.

Two more rockets were fired at Avivim this evening, also hitting open areas, the IDF says.

The IDF says that 30 more rockets were fired at the Western Galilee half an hour ago, which all struck open areas.

One person sustained minor injuries as a result of glass shards from an impact or falling shrapnel during the attacks on the Western Galilee, medics say. There are no other reports of injuries.
