IDF says it prevented 3rd cell from firing anti-tank missile at Israel

The Israel Defense Forces announces it has prevented a third cell from firing an anti-tank guided missile toward Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The military says it “hit and thwarted” the attack.

Yesterday, an Israeli soldier was killed and two others were wounded, along with an Israeli civilian, after Hamas operatives fired an anti-tank guided missile at their jeep just north of the Gaza Strip.

The funeral of Staff Sgt. Omer Tabib, 21, is currently taking place in Elyakim.
