IDF starts striking Beit Lahiya

The IDF has begun striking targets in the northern Gaza neighborhood of Beit Lahiya, Channel 10 reports.

On Saturday night, Israel warned Beit Lahiya residents to leave their homes in advance of an IDF attack on the neighborhood. Hamas ordered the residents to stay in place, but, according to UNRWA reports, 10,000 Palestinians left their homes in Beit Lahiya.

According to the IDF, 10 percent of rockets fired from Gaza come from Beit Lahiya.
