The armed wing of Islamic Jihad, the al-Quds Brigades, posted a video on YouTube Sunday warning Israeli ground troops against invading the Gaza Strip.
“An announcement to the Zionist ground forces,” the text in the video reads in broken Hebrew. “To the defeated army, if you thought about the stupidity of going into Gaza, we will turn your tanks into metal ruins, and turn your soldiers into shreds, and Gaza will be your graveyard.”
The text is interspersed with footage of Israel Defense Force soldiers and tanks advancing, then a three-man masked Palestinian anti-tank squad destroying an Israeli vehicle.
The video also shows images of IDF soldiers combing the dirt of Gaza’s Philadelphi Route in 2004 after 13 soldiers were killed in an APC explosion.
