Israeli troops are surrounding a building in the West Bank town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, and calling on a person inside to turn himself in, according to Palestinian media reports.

According to reports, clashes have also erupted in the area.

It is not immediately clear who the suspect is that Israeli forces are attempting to detain, but in recent days dozens of Palestinians with suspected of involvement in terror activities have been arrested in raids across the West Bank.

Earlier, two Palestinians were seen being arrested by Israeli troops in the town of Kaubar in the central West Bank.

There is no immediate comment from the army on the incidents.
