Lebanese media indicates blast an accident; footage shows small mushroom cloud
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLebanese media reports indicate the blast in Beirut was an accident, not an attack of some sort.
Pro-Hezbollah network al-Mayadeen says: “According to preliminary information, the explosion at the port is not a terrorist attack.
Meanwhile LBCI Lebanon News and Hezbollah’s al-Manar both concur that the cause was a fireworks stockpile.
A new video shows a small mushroom cloud at the site.
