Mamdani says he had ‘productive’ meeting with Trump at White House
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNew York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani tweets that he had a “productive” meeting with US President Donald Trump earlier this afternoon at the White House.
“I’m looking forward to building more housing in New York City,” he writes.
He later tweets that he held a subsequent phone call with Trump, who informed him that a Columbia University student arrested this morning by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers has been released.
Mamdani says he raised the young woman’s case during his meeting with Trump.
