Man shot dead, son seriously wounded in shooting in northern Arab town
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man was killed and his son seriously wounded in a shooting in the northern Arab town of Jadeidi-Makr, according to first responders and media reports.
The slain man is identified as Mahmoud Naimi. The Arab48 news site reports he was shot in the yard of his home, and that his son, in his 30s, was shot too upon exiting the house at the sound of gunfire.
Police say officers are working the scene. No arrests have been reported.
It is the second homicide in the Arab community today, after 34-year-old Yasser al-Haija was shot dead in the northern town of Tamra this afternoon.
