Obama reports ‘serious progress’ in IS fight
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Barack Obama meets Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in the White House and hails the progress he says the US-backed Iraqi forces are making against the Islamic State group.
Obama says the allies are “making serious progress” in pushing back the jihadists and thanks Abadi for living up to his commitment to make Iraq’s government more inclusive.
