The B’Tselem rights group says that Dr. Dima Amin, a 55-year-old Palestinian doctor from Ramallah, who was arrested by the IDF on Tuesday, suffered a cardiac event while in custody and was hospitalized.

According to the transcript of a court hearing held today, Amin is suspected of incitement, supporting a hostile organization and harming security over Facebook posts she published around three months ago.

During the hearing, a police representative confirmed that Amin underwent a cardiac catheterization and was hospitalized following her arrest. She was subsequently returned to custody at Jerusalem’s Russian Compound detention facility.

A military court today extended her detention by five days.
