Residents of a town near Gaza briefly told to stay home due to security event

Residents of a town in the Hof Ashkelon region along the northern Gaza border were ordered to lock their doors and remain near bomb shelters, due to a suspected security situation unfolding.

A short while later, the event is deemed a false alarm, and citizens of the area are permitted to leave their homes again.
