Singer urges IDF to reduce Gaza ‘to dust’ after rocket shard falls near his home

Rocket shards from a successful interception fell near the southern Tel Aviv home of veteran Israeli singer Yishai Levi, causing him to call on the government to launch a ground operation inside the Gaza Strip.

Speaking with Channel 12 news, Levi urges the forces “not to exit until they [Hamas] are [reduced to] dust.”

“It was one centimeter from my backyard,” he tells the Ynet news site. “We heard a very loud boom at first, and then there was the sound of falling metal. I’m fine.”
