Struggling to pronounce Yosemite, Trump goes for ‘Yo-Semites’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Donald Trump has a special place in his heart for Semites, it appears — “Yo-Semites” in particular.
At a White House event to sign the Great American Outdoors Act, a conservation bill, Trump says: “When young Americans… gaze upon Yosemite’s towering Sequoias, their love of country grows stronger.”
But he struggles to say the word Yosemite (pronounced Yoh-sem-it-ee), instead saying the word as if he’s trying out some street-speak on a Jew.
