Trump says Hormuz ‘will be opening up for business very shortly’

US President Donald Trump says, “The Strait of Hormuz will be opening up for business very shortly,” but stops short of saying a deal has actually been reached with Iran.
Trump makes the declaration about Hormuz somewhat tangentially in a Truth Social post praising one of his supporters for praising his Iran policy.
Trump had said he was aiming to sign a deal with Iran on Sunday, but that Israel’s strike in Beirut may have pushed things off, as Iran has pledged to retaliate.
