Turkish FM urges halt to US-Iran clashes to ensure sides reach peace deal

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan says that Iran and the United States must stop their renewed attacks and return to negotiations to avoid any further escalation.

Speaking in Sofia, Fidan says the recommendation to both sides from Turkey, which is in close contact with Washington, Tehran, and mediator Pakistan, is to aim to conclude talks over a peace deal.
