US President Donald Trump reveals that Hamas misrepresented the number of bodies of slain hostages it told mediators it would be able to produce, out of the 28 that remained in Gaza before the deal was signed.

“We were told they had 26, 24 dead hostages… and it seems as though they don’t have that, because we’re talking about a much lesser number,” Trump says. Hamas only released four bodies on Monday and is slated to release several more later tonight.

“I want them back,” Trump reiterates to reporters in the White House during a meeting with visiting Argentine President Javier Milei.
